Platinum Personnel Solutions are looking for two ‘Extruder Operatives’ to work on behalf of our client based at Parham airfield, Suffolk, UK. Our client are currently looking for two dedicated individuals to join their team at Parham Airfield in Suffolk. Job Title: Extruder Operative (3 Shift Basis)
Location: Parham Airfield, Suffolk
Vacancies: 2
Shift Schedule:
Two weeks on each shift rotation
Shift 1: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
Shift 2: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Shift 3: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
Salary:
First two weeks: £11.50 per hour
During training: £12.00 per hour
After 12-week probationary period: £13.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
· Operate and maintain extrusion machinery efficiently and safely.
· Set up, calibrate, and monitor the extrusion process.
· Ensure product quality and consistency through adjustments and checks.
· Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues effectively.
· Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleaning.
· Adhere to strict safety and quality protocols.
· Record production data accurately and report deviations.
· Qualifications and Requirements:
· Previous experience as an Extruder Operative is preferred but not required.
· Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
· Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
· Willingness to work on a 3-shift rotation.
· Ability to learn and adapt during the training period.
