Platinum Personnel Solutions are seeking a Production Labourer for our prestigious client based Leiston, Suffolk. The candidate will also need to have a forklift licence.
Status / Days: Full Time Permanent.
Hours of work: 07.30-17.00 Monday to Thursday, 07:30-14.30 Friday.
Rate of Pay: £24,500-£26,000PA to start depending on experience
Duties:
• To receive and despatch goods in our factory and replenishment the machines
• To check goods in against delivery notes for accuracy and damages
• Load and unload trucks and vans in line with H&S procedures
• Move goods to relevant departments using a forklift (if you have a licence)
• Physical movement of stock from the Goods In area to the warehouse and/or packing and putting away stock onto the shelves
• Packing goods
• Maintain yard and department tidiness/recycle the cardboard.
• Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded
Skills Required:
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work to procedures
• Good communicator
• Experience in manual handling (heavy lifting – 25KG bags)
• Ability to prioritise own workload
• Flexible and trustworthy
Desired Skills:
• A valid forklift licence
• Own Transport / Valid UK drivers licence
• Goods In experience
